We hope this post finds you all in good health, hungry for a nice meal out and gagging for an ice cold beer out of a pint glass.
We will be opening on the 12th April to welcome you all back. We will only be able to accommodate you within the outside areas only due to the government’s restrictions. We can only serve customers that are seated and we have plenty of tables and chairs. Our marquee has heating if the weather is pants.
Our opening times throughout April into May will be as follows.... Monday through to Friday will be 4pm till close. Saturday & Sunday will be 12pm till close. Food will be served Tuesday to Saturday 5pm till 9pm and Sundays 12pm till 4pm. Kitchen closed on Mondays to give the good looking landlord a day off. These times may change subject to demand.
As you can see from the menu, we have minimised our offering to basics due only being outside seating only, but if the weather improves we will expand on this.
Fullers have London Pride and Hophead ales available for us to purchase for our re opening, and will be brewing all the other favourites within a couple of weeks.
We are not going to be taking bookings for tables due to being let down in the past with people booking tables and not turning up. We will operate a first come first served basis. Like I have said we have loads of seating and will be able accommodate most parties.
If the weather is nice on the 12th we will have the BBQ fired up so Burgers, Sausages & chicken will be available.
As before there will only be table service, and you will be able to use the bathrooms inside but masks must be worn at all times whilst inside.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back and giving you the service you expect to receive from a proper country community pub.
If your religious, please have a word with the big man up there to give us a break and let the sun shine down on us.
All our Love Allan, Julie & team Chequers.
